Short CV information about myself. I graduated from Yerevan State University Armenia in 1995 with highest grades in theoretical physics. In 1998 I defended my PhD thesis on statistical phhysics and information theory. I did two post-docs in CEA-Saclay (France) and Amsterdam University. Since 2005 (with several major breaks for visiting professorships) I am working at Alikhanyan National Laboratory, Yerevan, Armenia. Since 2022 I am leading the department of quantum technologies at that research institute. Besides the theoretical physics related to quantum technologies (quantum optics, quantum information and quantum measurements), this department is also working on several interdisciplinary topics: probabilistic inference, decision theory, quantitative linguistics, etc.
